THE MOISTURE-CONTROL FABRIC
DRY-WET.TEX®
For years, cotton fabrics have
been considered most effective in absorbing sweat. However, once
cotton fabrics absorb moisture, they do not readily disperse it. After
a period of time, moisture next to the skin can cause a cold, clammy
sensation as well as chafing, irritation and conditions conducive to
bacteria, fungus and the growth of yeast, especially in the case of
athletic apparel and underwear.
DRY-WET. TEX®
is a moisture-control fabric. It keeps
moisture away from the skin of the wearer by drawing it from the skin
to the opposite side of the fabric. This keeps the skin dry, thus
creating a comfortable feeling. It is fast-drying, non-pilling, has a
UV cut (98.1-99.7%) and an antibacterial finish. It is suitable for
all types of sportswear and undergarments such as: golf shirts, tennis
shirts, cycling jerseys and shorts, baseball tops, T-shirts, socks,
glove linings, shoe linings, and hat sweatbands etc.
TEST
Dip a DRY-WET.TEX®
item in water and
wring out slightly. Touch the fabric and you will find that the outer
layer is wet but the inner layer is dry. |
